And i was having this interesting conversation with Ying earlier about Creationism vs Evolution... that in Ying's words got the brain juices bubbling... haha... interesting also because the reason we got started on the conversation was cos I said I was going back to read on Human Evolution... ;p So what do you guys think? Being a scientist, i have to say evolution, although i'm not against creationism... i think the problem lies in trying to reconcile the two....

you can probably reconcile them to a certain extent, but ultimately you get to the point where you ask where the very first lifeforms came from - random chance, or creation?

probably more for creation myself, but i've got no real objections to the general process of evolution having happened.

God is an orderly God...and He will set things in order when He comes. (1Corinthians 11:34)
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26)
How men refuse the evidence of GOd and choose to become vain in their imaginations, professing themselves to be wise.(Romans 1:20-23)

=) sorry if it's harsh...but sometimes, the bible is that way about the truth. either believe, or not. there is no fence.

2 Peter 3:9 God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentence.

First God made heaven & earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light -Genesis 1:1

In the scientific way, do we not interpret that to be the "Big Bang"?

well, but i think not ignoring the evidence of evolution, how do you come to terms with that then? either way, i think it's not an absolute evolution or absolution creationist theory.
