Apparently, the Royal Mail has gone on a 48-hour postal strike.

A two-day postal strike has begun despite last-minute talks between the Communication Workers Union and the management of Royal Mail.

Employees are protesting over pay, pensions and modernisation.

A second stoppage is scheduled for next Monday and it is expected service will not return to normal until the middle of next week.

I thought it was quite amusing cos they even have this "Q&A" page, on whether or not the postal strike will affect you.

Of course, this is such a pity, because I sent a postcard to ALL of you, but then it got stuck in the postal strike.... *grinz* and if you eventually don't receive anything even after the strike, it probably got lost while they went on strike.. tsk tsk... ;p
