Chapter 265 - 8 days
Unbelievably, there are only 8 days left to term, before me scooting off to Turkey for X'Mas break.... X'mas Turkey? (just a quick side note - i'm not sure if I sounded melancholic in the last couple of posts, but that's possibly because that's the only thing worth writing about... And on that topic, Pierre has been cremated and his ashes have now been scattered on the Housatonic River @ Yale.)

Anyhow, with just 8 days left to the end of term, there's a million things to be completed - of which I've just gone to London today to do my GRE test (verbal section sucked big time.... ;p), a tonne of supervision work, computing project, boat club sponsorship stuff and more. While I can't wait to go off on my nice little trip, there's way too much to do and too little time. *groans*
"I've learnt so much working under you Pierre and it'll be really strange not to have you around. We'll miss your neatly documented reports and the meticulous way in which you went about doing productions. There's so much that can't be expressed in words. Thank you for EVERYTHING Pierre and rest in peace.

i can't believe he is gone. *sniff* i love turkey...you'll love turkey. be sure to visit the blue mosque and ayyasuffiah. and try check out their sufi dance...simply enchanting. visit the grand bazaar!! get me pashmina can!?! red!! sooo cheap. must bargain like nobody's business ok. what else?? oh go visit the cistern underground...very the interesting...i can't remember where though...got your friend, Medusa. Must try GOVERNOR'S KEBAB and their POOR MAN'S CREPES (i think that is what it is being called)!!! like prata but much thinner and super nice....Oh when you go to Taksim Square, be sure to look for MADO ice cream cafe, it's too die for!!! And if you find a small western cafe, try their TORNADO STEAK. damn huge!!! and lastly, drink apple tea for a toast to Pierre!!!

Lastly if you need anything...i can give you the number of my best friend there. DON'T FALL FOR PICK UP LINES!!!!! must try their seafood, to die for. try go see eastern turkey...very different. OH OH!!! MUST GO VISIT TOPSKAPI'S PALACE!!!! so the beautiful can!?!?!?! take loadsa pics!!!
